Researchers: Doctors Should Screen People Over 50 for Cannabis Use

New research published in peer-reviewed The American Journal of Drug and Alcohol Abuse suggests older people who use cannabis to relieve or treat health problems are not discussing their substance use with doctors. This is despite some using marijuana every day and others having mental health problems, according to the study of more than 17,000 people aged 50 and over in the U.S.
